What is BLOCK TEACHING?

BLOCK TEACHING

Teacher Trainees are sent in groups of 4 to 5 trainees to different schools for about a month. They are alloted a mentor who observes their lessons and also helps them during the 1 month.
Each teacher trainee has to deliver 4 Credited Lessons i.e. lessons that are observed by the mentor and 10 Audited Lessons that are observed by the school teacher. During this time the Teacher Trainee has to complete some tasks aloted to them. They have to take part in the school activities and be in school for the full day.
